MTB group fitness

MTB group fitness

MTB for fitness! Mountain biking regularly improves your stamina, skills and overall fitness. This weekly program is for beginner and slower-paced intermediate riders and focuses on improving your fitness with some skills tips on the way. There will be lots of pedalling with a focus on 1 or 2 skills to practice each week while we ride. (Rather than technical skills intensives- MTB skills clinics). The program co-insides with the 10-week school term. The group is for beginner to intermediate riders. MTB group fitness is for age 16+. Maximum 6 riders.

Meet at the Atherton Forest MTB Park trailhead and carpark at the end of Rifle Range Road, Atherton. 

Directions: Atherton Forest Mountain Bike Park- Approx 4km from Atherton. From Cairns, head to the Atherton township via the Kennedy Highway. Pass through Atherton’s Main Street and then turn right onto Rifle Range Road for 3km and you will see the trailhead. Approx 1 hr 10mins from Cairns. 

Note: This mtb park does not have water or toilet facilities. There is mobile phone reception available throughout the park.
