Skill Clinics FAQ
Beginner and Intermediate Kids MTB Skills Clinics cater to ages 6 – 16 years
Beginner MTB Skills Clinics are for individuals 14 years and older (or 10 years+ when accompanied by an adult rider),
Intermediate MTB Skills Clinics are designed for adults or those 14 years and older who are comfortable on blue trails.
Off Camber encourages all mountain bikers to be self-efficient when on-trail. For those with their own equipment, bring the following:
- Drinking water for 1- 3hrs, depending on the length of your riding session–e.g. 2 Litres in a hydration pack. We strongly discourage hard water bottles in back packs for safety.
- Mountain bike in good serviced condition
- Helmet in good condition and Australian Standards
- Shoes for riding
- Tube repair kit–at a minimum, please bring a tube that fits your bike. If you don’t have a kit yet, consider talking to your local bike shop or have a chat with me on the day 😊
If you are hiring a bike for your clinic, please bring a water bottle or hydration pack and wear covered shoes. We will contact you prior to the session so we provide you with the correct size mountain bike prepared for your specifications prior to your session. We will bring the bike and helmet to the session for you.
All Riders, be ride-ready at your session time. Please allow enough time (5-10 mins) to prepare your bike and gear up before your session. We are keen to start our programs and clinics on time.
